Clavavera had a different portrait that was later replaced when it received its design change. When Spytrap first released, it used an earlier version of its portrait, where its stem had less detail, the bulb was more transparent, and it was lacking a pair of arms. When 2.3.9 first released, Hawlo used a beta design where its berries were replaced with a leaf. However, the first five Celestials' portraits were seen in the (now-obsolete) My Singing Monsters Official Guide. In 2.2.1, Celestials were added along with their portraits, but they were unused until 3.0.3, due to the lack of a Castle and Memory Game on Celestial Island. It was later also made usable as an avatar. In 2.0.6, Glowbes were given a portrait, which were used exclusively for their appearance on Composer Island. It is currently unknown when the Dream Element would get its portrait. When an Island does not have 25 Monsters or more, it will use the portraits of different Elements, which use the sound of the Wild Bagpipe. These are portraits that are either unused or used, but for a minor role. With the addition of the Epic Monsters, new Monster portraits were also added to the game, although only visible within the Memory Game as Epic Monsters cannot be used in Breeding attempts. In Version 3.0.3, all of the Monster portraits became available to be used as avatars, allowing the ones for Wublins and Celestials to be seen normally once again. In Version 2.1.8, the Memory Game has been completely refurbished as a card-matching game, allowing a selection of all random available monsters to be available per Memory Game, adding another place where these portraits can be seen. In Version 2.1.6, the Book of Monsters no longer uses portraits, instead using a whole island compilation of all monsters per island. In Version 2.0.3, the Book of Monsters was added, which finally gave Wublins, and Dipsters their own portraits. These are the portraits of each Monster which appear when you click the Breed button in the Breeding Structure options, the Memory button in the Castle options to play the Memory Game.
