![]() ![]() It was a book that kept me reading, and it was a quick read. I have nothing bad to say about this book. Huck has the mind of a 10 year old, but knows how to survive by himself and with another person. However, in this book, it was an actual adventure. ![]() I felt like this book was like me when I was younger. When they go inside, they here people talking.Then the people start walking towards them so they have to hurry out. Also, the part where Huck and Jim find the wrecked boat at the side of the River. For example, when Jim was locked up in the slave house and Huck and Tom had to dig a hole to help him escape. I really liked this book because there where so many suspenseful parts. Find out by reading The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. Will Huck and Jim make it before they get caught. The build a raft and start rowing towards the free states. Jim is to be sold to a slave owner, so Huck decides to help him escape. Huck Finn and Jim are both trying to escape for different reasons, but end up seeing each other on an island. Jim is a well mannered, big, and nice slave. Another main character in this story is Jim. Huck is around 13 or 14 years old and very adventuresome. ![]() The book is told from Huck's perspective. The protagonist of the story is Huckleberry Finn, and the story is told in 1st person. The Mississippi River is miles wide at times. The story takes place on the Mississippi River during 1845. Huck Finn does not give up easily at all. I think that Mark Twain writes about this because he feels that people give up too easily. I believe that Mark Twain's central messages in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn are to always stick with someone that your helping out, even if it gets really tough. ![]()
